 The Laws of Luck

The Law of Cause and Effect - Everything happens for a reason. For every effect in your life, there is a cause or a series of specific measurable, definable, identifiable causes.

The Law of Action and Reaction - For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

The Law of Sowing and Reaping - "Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

The Law of Probabilities - For every event, there is a probability of that event occurring under certain circumstances.

The Law of Attraction - You are a living magnet. You inevitably attract into your life the people, circumstances, ideas, and resources that are in harmony with your dominant thoughts. 

The Law of Belief - Whatever you believe with conviction becomes your reality.

The Law of Mind - A Corollary of the Law of Belief. Thoughts objective themselves. Your thoughts eventually materialize in the world around you.

The Law of Expectations - Whatever you expect with confidence becomes your own self-fulfilling prophecy. You get not what you want in life, but what you expect.

The Law of Subconscious Activity - Whatever thought or goal you hold in your conscious mind will be accepted by your subconscious mind as a command or instruction. 

The Law of Affirmation - Whatever goals you repeat over and over in a positive, personal, present tense way will be accepted by your subconscious mind as commands.  The results will then be drawn into your life by law of attraction. 

The Law of Correspondence - Your outer world reflects your inner world;  what is going on outside of you is a reflection or manifestation of what is going on inside of you.

The Law of Mental Equivalents - Your main job is to create within yourself the mental equivalent of what you wish to enjoy on the outside. Past or future thoughts do not count. The only thing that makes a difference is the way you think at this very moment. 

The Law of Suggestion - Your thoughts set up a force field of attraction that is either bringing you the things you want or the things that you don't want. 

The Law of Responsibility - You are 100% responsible for yourself, everything you are, and everything you become.

The Law of Positive Expectations - The more confidently you expect something good to come out of every situation, the more likely it is to occur.

The Law of Futurity - It doesn't matter where you're coming from;  all that matters is where you're going.

The Law of Synchronicity - Things happen that have no direct cause and effect relationship.  Events are often linked not by causality but by meaning. 

The Law of Purpose - The secret of success is constancy of Purpose.

The Law of Control - You feel positive about yourself to the degree to which you feel are in control of your own life. You feel negative about yourself to the degree to which you feel you are controlled by external forces or other people.

The Law of Accident - The opposite of the law of control, it says that failing to plan means planning to fail. Acting aimlessly means living aimlessly.

The Law of Clarity - The clearer you are about what you want, the more rapidly you will attain it.

The Law of Desire - The only limitation on your abilities is how badly you really want something.

The Law of Accelerating Acceleration - Whatever you are moving toward is moving toward you as well:  like attracts like.

The Law of Concentration - Whatever you dwell upon grows and increases in your world.

The Law of the Winning Edge - Small differences in knowledge and ability can lead to enormous differences in results.

The Law of Integrative Complexity - In every group, the individual who can integrate the greatest amount o information will rise and dominate all the others in that group. 

The Law of Self-Development - You can learn anything you need to learn to achieve any goal you set for yourself. There are no limitations on what you can accomplish.

The Law of Talents - You will never develop a useful talent or ability without having, sooner or later, an opportunity to apply that talent or ability to some good purpose.

The Law of Variety - Your success will be determined by the quality and quantity of ideas that you can generate to improve your circumstances.

The Law of Service - Your rewards will always be equal to the value of your service to others. The universe is always in balance:  you will always get out what you put in.

The Law of Practice - Whatever you practice over and over again eventually becomes a new habit or skill.

The Law of Incremental Improvement - You get better little by little and bit by bit.  Excellence is a long, laborious process of tiny, Incremental advances, each one of which may be imperceptible, but accumulatively, they add up to mastery.

The Law of Decision - People are successful because they have made a clear, unequivocally, do-or-die decision to be successful. Unsuccessful people have never made that decision. 

The Law of Love - Everything you do in life is either to get love or to compensate for the lack of love.  A Corollary is that you will only be truly successful and happy when you commit yourself wholeheartedly to doing what you most love to do.

The Law of Improvement - Your life only gets better when you get better.

The Law of Liking - The more people like you, the more they will be influenced by you and the more they will help you to achieve your goals.

The Law of Self-Esteem - The more you like, respect, and appreciate yourself, the more you will like, respect, and appreciate others, and the more they will like. respect, and appreciate you.

The Law of Affirmation - Whatever strong, affirmative statements you repeat over and over in your conscious mind will soon be accepted as commands by your subconscious mind.

The Law of Subconscious Activity - Whatever is accepted by your subconscious mind begins to materialize in the world around you.

The Law of Substitution - Your conscious mind can only hold one thought at a time, and you can choose that thought.  You can substitute a positive thoughts for a negative thought anytime you choose.

The Law of Reversibility - Just as feelings generate actions that are consistent with them, actions generate feelings that are consistent with them.  You can act your way into feeling the way you want to feel.

The Law of Emotional Reciprocity - When you do and say things that make other people feel good, they will have an unconscious desire to pay you back and make you feel good as well.

The Law of Relationships - The more people who know you and think of you in a positive way, the more success and opportunity you will have.

The Law of Repulsion - The converse of the law of attraction:  you automatically repel people and circumstances that are not in harmony with your dominant thoughts.

The Law of Indirect Effort - You get what you want with other people more often indirectly than directly.

The Law of Giving - The more you give of yourself without expectation of return, the more will come back to you from the most unexpected sources.

The Law of Indirect Effort - Instead of trying to impress the other person, ask questions and be impressed by what he or she says to you.

The Law of Liking - The more a person likes you, the easier it is to influence them.

The Law of Reciprocity - If you do something for another person, the other person will want to do something for you.

The Law of Abundance - We live in a universe of unlimited abundance. There is plenty for everyone.

The Law of Emulation - You will be successful to the exact degree to which you find out what other successful people do and you do those things over and over.

The Law of Saving - If you save and invest 10 percent of your income over the course of your working lifetime, you will retire a millionaire.

The Law of Accumulation - Money saved and invested with emotions of hope and desire will develop a force field of energy around it and attract more money. 

The Law of Opportunity - When you are ready, exactly the right opportunity will appear to you at exactly the right time. 

The Law of Investing - You must investigate before you invest. You must spend at least as much time studying the investments as you spend earning the money you invest.

The Law of Conservation - It is not how much money you earn but how much you keep that counts.

The Law of Concentration - Whatever you dwell upon grows and increases in your life.

The Law of Decision - Any clear, specific decision to do something definite clears your mind and activates your creativity.

The Law of Superconscious Activity - Any thoughts, plan, goal, or idea that you hold continuously in your conscious mind must be brought into reality by your super-conscious mind.

The Law of Results - Your rewards will always be equal to the quality, quantity, and timeliness of the results that you accomplish for other people.

The Law of Applied Effort - Any goal, task, or activity is amenable to the sustained effort of hard work.

The Law of Zero-Based Thinking - If there is any activity that, knowing what you know now, you would not have undertaken to begin with, eliminate that activity as soon as possible.

The Law of Flexibility - You must be clear about your goal, but you must always remain flexible about the way you attain it.

The Law of Courage - If you move boldly in the direction of your goals, unseen forces will come to your aid.

The Law of Habit - In the absence of a clear decision on your part or some external stimulus, you will keep on acting in the same way indefinitely.  Furthermore, whatever you do over and over again becomes a new habit. 

The Law of Assumption - Whatever you sincerely desire, act as if it were impossible to fail, and it shall be.
